CHAMPIONSHIP: BLACKPOOL EYEING SECOND HOME WIN
Blackpool are yet to win a game at home in the English Championship this season since the opening weekend. On the opening weekend of the season, English defender Callum Connolly scored the only goal of the game to lead Blackpool to a slim win over Reading at home. Blackpool beat the Royals 1-0 at home thanks to the ninth minute strike from the aforementioned Connolly.
In their second home game of the new Championship season, Blackpool were beaten at home by Welsh side Swansea City. The Tangerines were beaten 1-0 at home by Swansea City thanks to the goal from Oliver Ntcham. Ntcham scored three minutes from time to ensure that the Swans took the three points at stake. Swansea City were able to register their first and only win of the new English Championship season against the Tangerines.
Blackpool have a record of one win and one defeat from two league games at home this season and a record of one win, one draw and one loss from three league games away from home.
On the English Championship log, Blackpool are out of the top ten on goals scored as they have the same points and goal difference with London team Millwall in tenth spot. The Tangerines are eleventh on the said log with seven points.
