There has been a lot of rumours surrounding the future of Blackpool midfielder Tom Ince, who continues to be linked with several Premier league clubs.

He came extremely close to leaving the Championship outfit in January when Liverpool showed serious interest in the player. However, his astronomical valuation of £ 20 million was enough to scare Liverpool away. The summer, though, could prove to be the time when Ince leaves Blackpool, but manager and his father Paul Ince has said that he wants to keep the player for at least one more season.

Tom Ince was extremely influential player for Blackpool last season as they finished 15th in the championship table. The 21-year-old made 47 appearances for the club in all competitions. One could know the reason behind the huge interest behind the England under 21 international from the 18 goals he scored in all competitions. This was a major improvement from the eight goals he scored in the previous campaign. The 21-year-old is currently with the England under 21 team at the under 21 Championships.

His father and the manager of Blackpool, Paul Ince has said that he will one day become a top player in the Premier league. However, he needs to stay with Blackpool for one more season in order to get more experience.

"I hope we've not seen the last of Thomas in a tangerine shirt. He's one of the situations we'll be addressing. He will move on and be a top, top player in the Premier League. I just hope it's not this summer he moves. I think he's been outstanding for the club. The last six or seven games have taken their toll on Thomas, but you expect that, he's only a kid. I'm not just saying that because he's my son," said Ince.
