According to a report from Sky, Everton director of football Marcel Brands is an admirer of Jack Grealish but the club are wary of the need to invest in a number of other positions. A right-sided attacking midfielder has been identified as Everton's top transfer priority this summer with Gremio forward Everton Soares admired by Manager Carlo Ancelotti. Everton are not the only club interested in the player. Other clubs have shown interest, Napoli, Sevilla and Porto are all monitoring the players situation.

Former Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has urged Everton to sign Soares. He believes the trio of Soares, Grealish and Richarlison will be very handful for any Premier League defenses. He also revealed the addition of the duo will boost the chances of the club to make Europe next season.

Ancelotti has changed the fortune of the club since taking over from Marco Silva last December. The club were in the relaxation zone bef9re the Italian took over in Merseyside. He has since taken them to the top half of the table with impressive performance. To consolidate the head start the club needs to strengthen where necessary. Grealish and Soares will definitely improve the atmosphere within the club.
Everton will have to do battle with Manchester United for Grealish. Although the interest from Manchester United has cooled in recent weeks. According to some reports The Red Devils are switching their attention to Leicester City midfielder Jamie Madison. Everton also remain one of the favourites to land Lille's young Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes.
The 22-year-old joined Lille from Brazilian side Avai for £1.5m in 2017 and has become one of the most sought-after young central defenders in Europe. He has featured in the Champions League, playing twice against Chelsea in this season's group stages.
