Blackpool recorded one of their biggest wins of the season following the victory over leaders Hull City in a week 18 clash in League One also known as the third level of English football. Blackpool stunned the Tigers to edge a five-goal thriller at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday night. The result ensured that they maintained their unbeaten run in the league. The Tangerines have now gone four games without defeat in the league with the last loss coming during the trip to Doncaster Rovers towards the end of last month. They were beaten 3-2 by Doncaster Rovers for their seventh league defeat of the season.

Hull City are still the leaders in League One despite their fifth league defeat of the season, which was inflicted upon them by Blackpool. The hosts had to come from behind to beat Hull City 3-2 and maintain their unbeaten league run in the month of December.

League Two team Harrogate Townwould betargeting more history after they were drawn with a tough opposition in the second round of the FA Cup. The fourth-tierclub will face League One side Blackpool for a place in the FA Cup third round.

The draws for the FA Cup second round was made earlier this month and Harrogate Town has been given a home tie against former Premier League team Blackpool. The Tangerines were in the Premier League as recent as 2011.
Harrogate Town manager Simon Weaver masterminded a convincing first round victory over North West Counties League Premier Division clubSkelmersdalethereby securing a spot in the FA Cup second round. Skelmersdale were beaten 4-1 by Harrogate Town in the FA Cup first round on Friday night. The Wetherby Road club are likely to face a tougher game in the second round as they attempt to make more history by reaching the third round of English football’s oldest cup competition.

Spanish outfit Real Sociedad have confirmed the signing of Manchester City legend David Silva.

After a decade of trophy laden success, the Spanish midfielder departs the Etihad Stadium back to his homeland with more medals than anyone in the club’s history. He joined the club as a free agent after his deal with the Cityzens’ lapsed.

According to a report from Sky, Everton director of football Marcel Brands is an admirer of Jack Grealish but the club are wary of the need to invest in a number of other positions. A right-sided attacking midfielder has been identified as Everton's top transfer priority this summer with Gremio forward Everton Soares admired by Manager Carlo Ancelotti. Blackpool manager, Simon Grayson is pleased with on-loan goalkeeper Jak Alnwick, and is not ready to put him on the sidelines any time soon.
The goalie is enjoying his time on loan at Blackpool, having played every minute of League football this season.

The former Newcastle starlet made only six appearances for Rangers in two and a half years since joining from Port Vale in 2017.
Jak Alnwick has been present in all Blackpool League matches this season, making 15 appearances conceding just 16 goals and he has 5 clean sheets to his name.

Nathan Delfouneso, the Blackpool stalwart signed another year with Seasiders, by showing his act of dependency towards the future. Nathan Delfouneso who is a forward footballer, during this summer wasn’t visible in the contract but today the relationship of Nathan and pen to paper has taken place for a fresh contract which is ahead of his past seven seasons with Blackpool, for a renewed two-year contract which also includes an alternative for extension of 12 more months.

Nathan Delfouneso, the 28-year-old youngster with lots of desire and dedication towards the game of football, scored seven times in order to end the campaign resulting to him being the second highest club’s goal-scorer by making season appearance amounting to 45.
